6th Year Anniversary: Oku Ibom Ibibio Applauds Gov Emmanuel On Achievements In Office
…Expresses Appreciation For Building Chairman’s Residence
Oku Ibom Ibibio and chairman, Akwa Ibom State Council of Chiefs, His Eminence, Ntenyin (Dr.) Solomon Daniel Etuk has commended Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel for his commitment towards the development of the state since he came on board in 2015.
The Oku Ibom Ibibio, who was speaking at the occasion of the commissioning of the state palace of the chairman, Akwa Ibom State Council of Chiefs, Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo on Saturday, May 29, 2021, gave glory to God for His tender mercies towards Akwa Ibom State.
“We sincerely rejoice with His Excellency, the Governor, Mr Udom Gabriel Emmanuel and the entire people of our State as we celebrate yet another year of His Excellency’s remarkable and unique administration.
“Today, we gather to witness and participate in another landmark activity of this administration being the commissioning of this magnificent edifice, “The State Palace of the Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Council of Chiefs”.

“Let me at this juncture, particularly commend our Special Guest, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, for love and sense of brotherhood he has demonstrated today in coming to commission this beautiful edifice,” he remarked.
Dr. Solomon Etuk, who is also the chancellor, Akwa Ibom State University, assured the governor of the support of the royal fathers to his administration.
“On this occasion, we wholeheartedly identify with this administration which has been magnanimous in various aspects towards the traditional institution in Akwa Ibom State.
“Furthermore, Your Excellencies, my colleagues the Royal Fathers and the entire traditional institution of Akwa Ibom State are not oblivious of the remarkable achievement you have recorded within the period of your administration.

“Posterity will not forget in a hurry the various life changing projects and policies that your government has embarked upon for the upliftment of our people.
“The State Council of Chiefs will, to this end, continue to support your policies and programmes so that the dividend of democracy presently experienced will be sustained.
The Oku Ibom Ibibio, who is Paramount Ruler of Nsit Ubium Local Government Area, thanked Governor Emmanuel for State Council of Chiefs beautiful edifice and the new chairman’s residence, describing it as the first and the best so far in the entire country.
