A renowned medical practitioner in Akwa Ibom State, Dr. Inam James Inam has been reported death at the age of 61.
Dr. Inam, who until his death, was the founder and medical director of Ibom Clinic and Maternity in Uyo, the State capital.
A press release by the family and signed Engr. Ubongabasi James Inam, states the late medic was born on the December 12, 1959 into the family of Late Chief and Mrs. James Inam Odungide of Atai Ndon in Afaha Eket, Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
He had his education at Primary School at Barracks Road, Calabar; Creek Town Secondary School, Calabar in Cross River State and the School of Arts and Science, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Capped with excellent results at WAEC and A-Level, he then proceeded to College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Oyo State, and graduated as a Medical Doctor (M.B.B.S), with several awards.

According to the family, Dr. Inam, buoyed by his penchant to optimize his medical career, established his own private hospital; the Ibom Clinic and Maternity in Uyo, where he served humanity effectively and efficiently, and brought joy to many though his free medical services to the less privileged.
The funeral arrangement in honour of the departed medic commenced with the opening of mourning house on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at No. 6 Klinik Road Extension, Eket, while Service of Songs will hold on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 to be conducted at the RCCG Provincial Mega Parish, Edet Akpan Avenue, Uyo by 5pm.
The remains of the Late Dr. Inam will be laid to rest on Friday, May 28, 2021 in Eket after a funeral service by the Redeemed Christian Church of God at Local Government Secretariat Grounds, Eket Oron Road, Eket LGA.
