Ace Mint Hub Celebrates International Women’s Day in Style
Frontline environmental services and cleaning company, Ace Mint Hub, has reaffirmed its commitment to the empowerment of women by marking the 2026 International Women’s Day (IWD) uniquely and colourfully in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
To commemorate the occasion, the company took the celebration to the Ibom Tropicana Mall in Uyo, where women were treated to an atmosphere of excitement, entertainment, and freebies as part of activities lined up for the day.
The theme for International Women’s Day 2026 is “Give to Gain”, while the United Nations and the Akwa Ibom State Government also highlighted the theme “Rights. Justice. Action. For All Women and Girls.”
The “Give to Gain” theme emphasises the importance of supporting women and investing in their empowerment, reiterating the idea that when women thrive, society as a whole benefits. It encourages individuals and organisations to actively contribute to women’s development, recognising that such efforts promote shared progress and a more equitable society.
Similarly, the UN’s theme focuses on advancing equal rights, promoting justice, dismantling discriminatory practices, and ensuring that women and girls everywhere are able to fully exercise their rights.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the celebration, the Chief Executive Officer of Ace Mint Hub, Engr. Ekemini Brownson Usen, noted that women play vital roles both in society and within the company’s operations.
According to him, it was only fitting for the organisation to identify with women and celebrate them on an important global day.
Ace Mint Hub is a cleaning and environmental services company based in Uyo, Nigeria. The company provides a wide range of services, including residential, commercial, and industrial cleaning, as well as environmental sanitation, waste management, and sustainability consulting.
Beyond service delivery, the company is actively involved in community engagement and environmental awareness initiatives across Akwa Ibom State.
