ADF Mourns With APC Bigwig, Nsima Ekere On Father’s Demise
Joining hordes of sympathizers and well-wishers to identify with the family of late Sir G. S. Ekere of Ikot Oboroeyin, Edemeya in Ikot Abasi Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State is Akwa Ibom Democratic Forum (ADF), a socio-political group and mobilization force within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Representatives of the group, who visited on Friday, asserted that one of the departed patriarch’s sons, Obong Nsima Ekere, as a good-hearted fellow, loyal party man and seasoned administrator, deserves all-round support and solidarity as he bids to cope with the loss.
Speaking on behalf of the forum, Deputy Director 1 of ADF, Hon. Emaeyak Ukpong, implored the family to celebrate the successes of their patriarch who, according to them, lived a virtuous and impact-laden life on earth.

Noting that they are saddened by the development, the group comforted Obong Nsima Ekere, his siblings and the entire family. ADF urged them not to lose faith in trudging on in the absence of their father.
Obong Nsima Ekere acknowledged ADF as one of the groups that has wished the family well at the moment of bereavement.
Digressing a bit into politics, he mentioned that ADF is one of the vibrant platforms within the party, and tasked it with the mandate of pursuing advocacies that will bolster the party’s strength and success in the state in no distant time.
