Ojelabi stressed the need for party members to set aside internal divisions and focus on strengthening the APC’s structure across the state.
He noted that unity, teamwork, and discipline within the party would be essential to consolidating its achievements and improving its performance in future elections.
The APC chairman also encouraged the officers to familiarise themselves with the leadership and political terrain of their respective local governments and to identify areas where the party needs to strengthen its presence.
He said the party leadership would provide support and an enabling environment for the officers to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
Speaking further, the spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Seye Oladejo, said the peaceful conduct of recent congresses across wards and local government areas, as well as the completion of the party’s electronic membership registration, has strengthened the party’s reputation for strong internal organisation.
Oladejo explained that the processes were successful because they were conducted in line with the party’s constitutional guidelines, reflecting its commitment to transparency, innovation, and broader grassroots participation.
He added that the congresses produced a State Executive Committee that balances experience with youthful energy and improved gender representation, describing it as a reflection of the party’s unity and readiness for future political engagements in the state.
The highlight of the event was the swearing-in of members of the State Executive Committee into office.
