APC Primaries: Nsit Atai Chairman, Stakeholders, and Party Members Deliver Eastern Nsit Ward 4 for Mark Esset

—As Party Members Reaffirm Support for Tinubu, Eno, Bassey, and Attah

Amid widespread backing from party members and stakeholders led by the Executive Chairman of Nsit Atai Local Government, Hon. Prince Anthony Nyong, Rt. Hon. Mark Esset emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary election in Eastern Nsit Ward 4.

The APC primary election, held on Saturday at the Ward Centre in Ndon Omum, began around 1:00pm and drew significant participation from party faithful across the ward. The process was peaceful and widely praised for its orderliness and high level of party unity.

At the end of the exercise, Rt. Hon. Mark Esset received a total of 1,556 votes, confirming his dominance and wide acceptance among party members in the ward. The Ward Returning Officer, Mr Bassey Harrison John, officially announced the results.

In his remarks shortly after the exercise, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Prince Anthony Nyong, praised APC members for their peaceful conduct, maturity, and dedication to the democratic process.

Prince Nyong expressed gratitude towards the leadership of the APC. He especially commended the party leader in Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, for providing purposeful guidance and maintaining unity within the party.

He called on members to uphold the spirit of unity and peaceful coexistence throughout the remaining electoral stages and further urged party faithful to extend the same overwhelming support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Umo Eno, Senator Aniekan Bassey, and the Area Member in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Prince Aniefiok Attah.

 

Party members described the exercise as transparent, credible, and as a clear display of the strength, unity, and rising influence of the APC in Eastern Nsit Ward 4.

Following the primary, APC members convened a ward meeting where they unanimously reaffirmed their support for President Tinubu, Governor Umo Eno, Senator Aniekan Bassey, and Hon. Prince Aniefiok Attah as they prepare for future political engagements.
