CP Azare Commends Officers, Government, Residents Over Successful Presidential Visit

The Commissioner of Police, Akwa Ibom State Command, CP Baba Mohammed Azare, fsi, MNIPR, has commended officers and men of the Command for their exemplary conduct, resilience and professionalism throughout the two-day working visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to Akwa Ibom State.

In a press release issued on Friday, November 7, 2026, CP Azare noted that the discipline, alertness, dedication and commitment to duty demonstrated by the officers were evident in the effective security arrangements put in place before, during and after the visit.

He stated that the seamless coordination and collective efforts of the security personnel contributed significantly to the peaceful and orderly conduct of the presidential visit.

The Commissioner also expressed profound appreciation to the Akwa Ibom State Government for its support, cooperation and strategic collaboration with the Police and other security agencies, noting that the Government’s partnership played a vital role in ensuring effective security coverage throughout the visit.

CP Azare equally extended his gratitude to the good people of Akwa Ibom State for their cooperation, patience and understanding, particularly in complying with security measures and traffic regulations put in place for the successful conduct of the visit.
