DR Aniekeme Uwah appointed Secretary of Commonwealth Medical Association COVID-19 Response Committee
The Nigerian Medical Association Akwa Ibom State branch this afternoon received with great delight the appointment of our Immediate Past Chairman, Dr (Elder) Aniekeme Uwah JP, as a Member/Secretary of the COVID-19 Response Committee of the Commonwealth Medical Association.
The announcement which was made in a letter personally signed by the President of the CMA, Dr Osahon Enabulele, described Dr Uwah as knowledgeable and experienced with an “avowed commitment to the progress of the CMA”.
Other members of the intercontinental multinational Committee include:

4. Dr Colin Abel
5. Dr Joy Mugambi
6. Dr N.L. Orhue
Dr Aniekeme Uwah, who is the Akwa Ibom State Epidemiologist and the immediate past Chairman of the NMA South-South caucus has since accepted his appointment.
