Eastern Obolo LG PDP Flag bearer Hails Gov. Emmanuel, Stakeholders
Chairmanship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Eastern Obolo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Elder Abraham Odion has expressed gratitude to God, Governor Udom Emmanuel and stakeholders of the party in the area.
In a thank-you message, Elder Odion attributed the success and peaceful conduct of the primary election to God’s benevolence and the collective hardwork and faith which PDP stakeholders in the area have in the party.
Thanking Governor Emmanuel, Odion noted that “the transparent conduct of the primary election in Eastern Obolo and across the state is a confirmation of Gov Emmanuel’s determination to deepen democratic values in the state.”

He equally expressed thanks to the state chairman of the PDP, Obong Udo Ekpenyong, and all executive members of the party in the state and local government level.

Odion particularly hailed the Eastern Obolo political leader, Mr Francis Charles Uduyok, who represents Ikot Abasi/ Eastern Obolo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, the executive chairman, Eastern Obolo LGA, Lady Victoria George Tallick, Eastern Obolo Elders, led by Sir Levi Uzono.
“I wish to also applaud the election committee chairman, Engineer Festus Sunday and the returning officer, Chief Joshua Matthew, all PDP ward chairman and excos and all adhoc delegates. I dedicate this victory to our party and also to the integrity of zoning in Eastern Obolo,” he added
According to him, upon being inaugurated after successful local government elections, his administration will ensure team work, infrastructural development, human capital development and accountability in the council.
