Elder Abraham Odion Felicitates New PDP Chairman, Prays For Success
The Executive Chairman of Eastern Obolo Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Elder Abraham Odion has felicitated with the newly elected chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Akwa Ibom State Chapter, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Akpan.
In a congratulatory message to Hon. Akpan, who emerged as the new state chairman at the special congress of the PDP held at the Godswill Obot Akpabio International Stadium on Wednesday, Elder Odion described his ascension to the pinnacle of the state’s ruling party as the hand work of God.
“On behalf of my wife, family and the Eastern Obolo Local Government Area, I heartily felicitate with you on your well-deserved victory at the state congress of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) held on held at the Godswill Obot Akpabio International Stadium on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
“It is quite obvious that your emergence as the head of party in Akwa Ibom State as the hand work of God.

“From your background, it is seen that you are a man of tremendous experience and have held various offices including school’s principal, Executive Chairman of Ukanafun, Member, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, and Commissioner for Education amongst others,” he stated.
Elder Odion, while praying for his overall success in office, assured Hon. Akpan of the unflinching support and loyalty of the council and the entire people of Eastern local government area at all times.
He stated, “As loyal party members we are solidly with you and the leader of party in Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.
Rt. Hon Aniekan Akpan election as the seventh chairman of PDP, Akwa lbom chapter fills the vacant position created by the sudden death of the immediate past PDP chairman, late Obong Udo Ekpenyong early in the year.
