Eminent Nigerians, Royal Fathers Set To Attend Wedding Of Oku Ibom Ibibio’s Daughter, Wednesday, Friday

As the marriage ceremonies of the first daughter of the Oku Ibom Ibibio and President General of Akwa Ibom State Council hold on Wednesday, December 8 and Friday, December 10, 2021, eminent Nigerians and royal fathers across the country have indicated interest to attend the events.

 

Princess Esitime Solomon Etuk is to be joined in holy matrimony with her heartthrob, Prince Iberedem Eventus Hilary, son of Obong (Sir)/Lady Eventus Hilary (KSJI) of Nung Oku Ibesikpo, Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area.

The traditional marriage comes up on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 by 12:00 noon at School Ground, Ikot Ukobo, Nsit Ubium LGA while the church wedding holds on Friday, December 10, 2021 by 10.00 am at St. Athanasius Parish, Nung Oku lbesikpo, Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area.

 

A wedding party follows immediately after at Ibom Hall, IBB Avenue, Uyo.

A release signed by the chairman of the Central Planning Committee (CPC), Pastor Umo Eno, who is the Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources, and Mr. Emmanuel Umontuen, Secretary of the CPC, who is also the secretary of Akwa Ibom State Traditional Rulers Council, said eminent personalities and royal fathers across the country are expected to attend the events.

The royal wedding ceremonies have their Excellencies, the Akwa Ibom State Governor and wife, Mr and Dr (Mrs) Martha Udom Emmanuel as Special Guests of Honour while the revered elder statesman and former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Arc Obong Victor Attah will serve as the Chairman at the Traditional Marriage.

 

According to the CPC, HRM Edidem Raymond Timothy Inyang, FCA, Paramount Ruler of Onna LGA, who is the Secretary General of Ifim Ibom Ibibio and Enin Afaha Worldwide will be the Chairman of the Wedding Party.
