Gov. Eno Swears In Uduak Isaac As Permanent Secretary
...Describes Him As Embodiment Of Hard Work, New Face Of Civil Service

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has sworn in Mr. Uduak Isaac as Permanent Secretary in the State civil service.
Administering the oath of office and allegiance to Mr Isaac at the Executive Chamber, Government House, Uyo, Governor Eno attributed his elevation to his hard work, diligence and passion for service delivery.
He said, “You are an embodiment of what a true public servant should represent –passion, dedication, selflessness and abiding spirit of faith in service delivery.

“You have really shown that you understand the key ethos and culture of the ARISE Agenda. You helped craft the strategic plan of the ARISE Human Capital Development, which Vice President Kashim Shettima launched two days ago.
“Without demanding a kobo from Government, you travelled the length and breadth of Nigeria, outside the country, and around all Local Government Areas in the State, mustering the Chairmen to be able to develop a strategic plan of action for our Local Governments to key into the Human Capital Development initiative.”
The Governor described Mr Isaac as the new face of the civil service, urging others to aspire to excellence through hard work rather than recommendation and maintained that the appointment is predicated on merit while congratulating him on his elevation.
In his interaction with Government House Correspondents, Mr. Uduak Isaac expressed gratitude to the Governor for the appointment and pledged to take the State to higher heights in Human Capital Development.
