Governor Emmanuel, Oku Ibom To Grace Ibom Patriots 2nd AGM/Get-together, Friday

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel and the Oku Ibom Ibibio and President General, Akwa Ibom State Traditional Rulers Council, His Eminence, Ntenyin (Dr) Solomon Daniel Etuk, have been named as star guests for the 2nd Annual General Meeting/Get-together of Ibom Patriots scheduled to hold on Friday, February 4, 2022.

 

According to a press statement issued by the foremost socio-political forum, the Governor will serve as Special Guest of Honour while the Oku Ibom will be the Royal Father of the Day.

The day’s activities start with documentation/ Annual General Meeting by members of Ibom Patriots at 3:30pm while the Get-together starts by 5:30pm.

 

The venue is Eseme Essien Event Center by Flair Décor, Plot 6/7 Osongama Estate by Nossien Gas Station, Off Four Lanes, Uyo.

The statement indicated that the event “will be the second Annual General Meeting/Get-together since 2018 as the Covid-19 Pandemic prevented the hosting of the 2020 and 2021 editions.

 

It further announced that “the event is for members of Ibom Patriots and invited guests and will feature a discourse with the theme: “Politics, Governance & The Sustainable Development of Akwa Ibom State: Mainstreaming The Completion Agenda,” with an erudite scholar, Dr. Aniekan Brown of the University of Uyo as Guest Speaker.”

Others expected are the State Deputy Governor, Mr Moses Ekpo, MFR who is a Patron of the Forum as well as serving and past senators, academics and businessmen.

 

The media release was jointly signed by Chancellor of the Forum, Obong Bassey Inuaeyen; Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Barr. Usenobong Akpabio; and Chairperson, Planning Committee, Prof Eno-Abasi Urua.
