Ibesikpo Asutan Council Secretary Takes Oath Of Office
The newly appointed Secretary of Council in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area, Dr. Edidiong Essien, has taken oath of office with a promise to discharge his duties in line with laid-down rules and expectations for the growth of the council.
Administering the oath of office to the Secretary at the Council secretariat, Nung Udoe, on Friday, October 11, 2024, the Executive Chairman of Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Council, Hon. (Evang.) Edidiong Inyang, charged the new Secretary to bring his wealth of experience in the discharge of his assigned duty and uphold the sanctity of his office at all times.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Edidiong Essien thanked the Executive Chairman for believing him and assured that he will discharge the responsibility required of him in his office diligently at all times.
Present at the ceremony were the Executive Vice Chairman, Mrs. Goodness Emmanuel Obot, Leader of the 8th Assembly, SA to the Governor on Local Media, Director General of Unity Project, Ubong Amamkpa, the Secretary, New Era Divine Movement, Mr. Mbosowo Essien, a cross-section of councillors, and the Head of Service of the Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Council, Directors, amongst others.
