Ibiono Ibom Stakeholders Reaffirm Elder Ntieyong Inyangmme As Political Leader

Stakeholders of Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area drawn from all its 13 wards have passed a vote of confidence on their political leader, Elder Ntieyong Inyangmme, describing him as square peg in a square hole.
The stakeholders have also reaffirmed their total support to Governor Udom Emmanuel on his Completion Agenda as well as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The position of the stakeholders came after a crucial meeting held on Monday, March 8, 2021 in Uyo and attended by political bigwigs and who-is-who in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

The Chairman of PDP in Ibiono Local Government Area, Hon. Emmanuel Etim moderated the voice vote by the stakeholders after a formal motion was raised by Mr. Ndueso Akpan and seconded by Hon. Udeme Sunday, Leader of Ibiono Ibom Legislative Council.
The stakeholders also passed a vote of confidence on their Son, Distinguished Senator Bassey Albert (OBA), who represents Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial district and Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) for his superlative performance in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Speaking at the event, the political Leader, Elder Ntieyong Inyangmme, who spoke amidst thunderous ovation, thanked the people of the area for the confidence reposed in him and assured them that he will continue to tow the path of truth and integrity in the discharge of his responsibilities and in the overall interest of the people and the area.
Inyangmme also assured the people that his belief in the Ibiono Ibom project is unwavering and called on all and sundry to close ranks for the overall development of the area and the State.
Distinguished Senator Bassey Albert (OBA) in his tone setting, assured the people that he will continue to love every son and daughter of Ibiono Ibom as God has been very kind to him.
According to him, his self-confidence reflects from his total believes in God who is always there to fight his battles and prayed God to give him the grace to do more for the greater number of people in Ibiono, Uyo Senatorial District, state and beyond.
Senator Albert, who is a two-term senator and leader of Akwa Ibom Caucus in the National Assembly, lauded Governor Udom Emmanuel for his efforts in adding value to Akwa Ibom State in various spheres.
He acknowledged the sound political pedigree of Elder Ntieyong Inyangmme, who has been a very loyal party man overtime and expressed confidence in his leadership.
The well attended meeting inaugurated an installation committee for the indefatigable Political Leader of the area by the stakeholders and is headed by High Chief Marcus Okuku, pioneer Chairman of Ibiono Ibom LGA among other members drawn from the different political zones of the area.
