IPMAN Calls Off Strike in Akwa Ibom State

A statewide strike action embarked upon by the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) in Akwa Ibom State has been called off.

The strike had commenced on Thursday, August 7, 2025, across the whole state by members of IPMAN on grounds of impoundment of their trucks in Mbo LGA sometime in 2024.

The strike action led to a limited supply of petroleum products in the state, with only major marketers like NNPC, AP, Rain Oil, A. A. Rano, and a few others dispensing.
