Prince Ntuk Udeh who previously served as Commissioner for Transport and as the International President of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, expressed his readiness to partner with AKINEMP in his capacity as the Special Adviser to the Governor on political Affairs.

Speaking about Governor Eno’s scorecard in infrastructural development, Ntuk Udeh reeled out projects such as the new Oron Beach, the nearly completed ARISE Park, the sports academy in Eket, the international market in Ikot Ekpene, ongoing road construction, and the international hospital as evidence of the Governor’s forward-thinking vision for the state.

Earlier, Elder Patrick Albert, the 11th past Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ) now piloting AKINEMP explained that the purpose of the visit was to engage with Ntuk Udeh in his role as the Political Adviser to the Governor and as a key stakeholder in the Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial project.

Albert noted that the group’s objectives focus on promoting positive collaboration with stakeholders and supporting the sons and daughters of the district in leadership roles across various levels of government and other sectors.

“We take cognisance of the fact that His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, PhD, Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State is a worthy son of the Senatorial District and rightly deserves our collective support and cooperation.

“We commend our sons and daughters in the administration, who are performing incredibly to make the ARISE Agenda of this administration a success.

“We acknowledge the gargantuan performance of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, PhD, Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State in executing numerous life-touching projects across the State.

“We are also thrilled by his administration’s commendable disposition in steadily clearing pension and gratuity of retirees in Akwa Ibom State. That from the inherited amount of N111 billion in unpaid gratuities dating back to 2012, to paying over N80 billion, shows the character of a people-centric leader.

“Today, Akwa Ibom State is experiencing enormous political harmony, unity and peace due to its humane and inclusive leadership”, he said.
