It was an epic event when the Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Roads and Other Infrastructure Maintenance Agency (AKROIMA), Prince Godwin Ntuk Udeh, Ph.D, treated his kinsmen to a sumptuous Christmas celebration on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in his country home at Mbiaya, Uruan Local Government Area.
Speaking at the event, the AKROIMA boss appreciated the Almighty God for keeping everyone alive to witness this year’s Christmas period.
He said that his gesture was informed by the passion to interact and socialize with his people during this Yuletide period.
“We have worked from January to November, and God having taken us this far, we need to unwind. I did not come here to play politics, but to socialize with my people the way it should be,” Ntuk Udeh said.

The former Commissioner for Transport sued for absolute loyalty to the Governor Udom Emmanuel administration.
He distributed food items such as bags of rice, noodles, pastas, as well as cash.
In their separate goodwill messages, the Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service, Mr Okon Okon; Commissioner for Economic Development & Ibom Deep Seaport, Mr Akan Okon and the Speaker, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Mr Aniekan Bassey eulogized Prince Ntuk Udeh for putting smiles on the faces of his people this Christmas and making the impact of the Governor Udom Emmanuel’s government to be felt by the grassroots. They prayed God to bless Prince Ntuk Udeh.
As part of the occasion, Executive members of a foremost socio-political organization, the Uruan Progressive Peoples Forum (UPPF) was duly inaugurated. The Forum has Mr Anthony Edet Essien as the International President.
In his remarks, the Chairman on the occasion, Obong T. O. Akpan paid glowing tributes to Prince Godwin Ntuk Udeh for his goodwill and leadership capacity and prayed God to continually take him to greater heights in all his endeavours.
Mkpisong Akpan advised the newly inaugurated members of the UPPF exco to be committed in their service to the organization in which they have been mandated to lead at different capacity, and avoid a double-standard attitude.
The event featured cultural display by various cultural groups.
