OHANEZE Ndigbo A’Ibom Unite, Set for Igbo Unity Day Celebration

In a historical milestone since its existence in Akwa Ibom State, Ohaneze Ndigbo, Akwa Ibom State chapter, led by Hon. Kayceey Chidiadi, is set to hold its first-ever Igbo Unity Day Celebration come November 8, 2025.

Speaking during the inauguration of the event planning committee, Hon. Kayceey expressed gratitude to God, his cabinet and everyone who has sacrificed in one way or another in ensuring that there is peace among the Igbos living in the state.

He further tasked those given the responsibility of organising the forthcoming epoch-making event to be committed and diligent in planning the event.

Administering the oath of allegiance during the inauguration ceremony, Barr Chris Ezeibe expressed happiness for the achievement of peace among the Igbos in the state.

He cited how painful it was to see a once united Igbo community split into factions, which led to numerous court cases amongst them.

He, however, thanked God that all of that is now in the past, as everyone has embraced peace and is united as one family.
