As Akwa Ibom State gradually moves away from being a civil service to an industrialized state there is need to direct the local government councils to join in the industrial revolution.
As at the last count, the Governor Udom Emmanuel Administration has established 18 industries. The local government councils should set up theirs too.
The state government should direct every local government council to establish at least one industry.
If implemented the state will achieve a tremendous industrial revolution we have been yearning for.
