Senator Albert Graces Annual Convention of The Apostolic Mount Olive Church

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum (Upstream) and Senator representing Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Bassey Albert Akpan has acknowledged the enormous contributions of churches to the spiritual, educational and socio-economic contribution towards the development of the people and society.
Senator Albert, who is the Leader of the Akwa Ibom State Caucus in the National Assembly, stated this at the 18th Annual Convention of The Apostolic Mount Olive Church (The Beautiful Gate) at Ikot Abasi-Uyo Road, Ikot Ntot, Mkpat Enin, Akwa Ibom State, Sunday, December 19, 2021.
The senator, popularly known as OBA, commended the General Overseer of The Apostolic Mount Olive Church, Prophet (Dr) David Udo Udo for his landmark achievements since the inception of the ministry.
He urged the church not to relent in offering supplications to God on the affairs of the state and country at all times, stressing that with God challenges are easily surmountable.
The General Overseer of The Apostolic Mount Olive Church, Prophet (Dr) David Udo Udo in his remarks appreciated Senator Bassey Albert Akpan for his laudable roles in the Senate and his empowerment programmes which have beneficiaries spread across all parts of Akwa Ibom State.
Prophet Udo offered prayers for Senator Albert, charging him to remain courageous at all times, as God will surely reward him in due season.

The Founder/Senior Pastor of Holyghost Ambassadors ministries International, Apostle Nyeneime Andy, who was a guest preacher at the annual convention, which kick-started on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 and ended on Sunday, 19 December 2021 said that Senator Bassey Albert has stood out eminently due to his effective representation and love for one another.
Apostle Andy prayed to God to bless him and prosper his works, urging him not to relent in his good works.
The 18th annual convention with the theme, “The Power of Divine Possibilities” had the presence of other ministers including the wife of the General Overseer, Pastors (Mrs) Abigail David Udo; Bishop Emmah Isong, Apostle Nyeneime Andy, Apostle Ime Udo Udo, Apostle Ime Uyouko and Apostle Ayo Jolasinmi.
Dignitaries, who attended the event included Senator Effiong Bob and his wife; Hon. Asuquo Nnana Udo, Member representing Ikono State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly; Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Bassey, Member representing Ini State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly; Hon. Otobong Bob, Member representing Nsit Ubium State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and Hon. Victor Ekwere, Member representing Mkpat Enin State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.
Other personalities were Rt. Hon. (Dr) Ekong Sampson; former chairman of Ibiono Ibom LGA, Rt. Hon Ekomabasi Akpan; Political Adviser to Senator Bassey Albert and Chairman, Bassey Albert Liaison Office, Uyo, Obong Daniel Udoh; a former member of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Barr Kennedy Ekong and a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Jerry Okpo, Mr Onofiok Onofiok, Mr Ubong Uwah, Arc. Macaulay Udoka.
