Senator Albert Is An Exceptional, Dependable Leader – IESDYA

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) and representative of Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District, Obong Bassey Albert Akpan (OBA) has been described as an exceptional and dependable leader that Akwa Ibom State is lucky to have.

Senator Albert has also been assessed as someone whose track records in private and public services, as well as legislative duties, are good enough to be entrusted with a higher responsibility in Akwa Ibom State.

To this end, youths, under the umbrella of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District Youths Assembly (IESDYA) – drawn from the 10 local government areas of Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District, are set to roll out their drums to celebrate Senator Albert, who is also the Leader of Akwa Ibom Caucus in the National Assembly, Abuja.

The epic event in honour of Senator Albert tagged: Solidarity Rally, is scheduled to hold on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Methodist Primary School, Ikot Obong Edong, Etok Ebe Street, opposite United Bank for Africa (UBA), Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State by 10 am.

The Chairman, Central Planning Committee (CPC) and President of the Assembly, Sir Uduak Isobara, in an interview, said the youths remain grateful to Senator Albert for being a pillar of support for the Senatorial District over the years, necessitating a formal ceremony to honour him publicly.

Sir Isobara said that going on his brilliant track record built over the years, OBA deserves the total support of all well-meaning sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom State in line with the yearnings for all-inclusive governance come 2023.

Sir Isobara described Senator Albert as the best man to pilot the affairs of Akwa Ibom State as Governor in 2023, emphasizing that the senator’s pedigree and experience garnered over the years will be brought to bear in the development of the district and Akwa Ibom State in general.

“We have done our checks and we know who to support in the Governorship race for 2023 in Akwa Ibom State. By every assessment, the preferred choice of the people in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District and beyond is Senator Bassey Albert Akpan (OBA).

“The solidarity rally for Senator Bassey Albert Akpan (OBA) is, therefore, a vote of confidence by the Youths of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District in recognition of his exceptional and dependable leadership qualities. With his pedigree and experience, he deserves to be entrusted with a higher responsibility to serve as Governor of Akwa Ibom State in 2023. Surely, his leadership shall be transformational,” Isobara added.

The solidarity rally, which will attract eminent personalities from the senatorial district and beyond, has Senator Albert and his dear wife as Special Guests of Honour. It will also be attended by members of the Akwa Ubok Abasi Campaign Organization led by Archbishop Andrew Uwanta and other political associates.
