Senator Albert Tasks The Church on Youth Empowerment
The growth of any society is dependent on the nature of the people it breeds. This was the focal point during the 2021 standard quiz competition organized by the Youth Fellowship of the Apostolic Church, Uyo field.
Addressing participants at the event, the quizmaster, Senator Bassey Albert, charged the leadership of the church to invest in the development of the next generation through the provision of scholarships, entrepreneurial programmes, and training which will help position the Youths for the future.
Senator Albert noted that society has drifted from the dynamics obtainable in the past decade, hence the need for the development of Youths in line with present-day realities.

He praised the leadership of the Apostolic Church for supporting the Youths to organize the event and charged the participants to uphold the tenets of the scripture.
The competition was won by Itoro Orok of the Apostolic Church, Four Towns, who amassed ten (10) points to beat his closest rival Ubong Thompson who scored six. No fewer than 10 major centers of the Church took part in the competition.
Superintendent of Uyo Field of the Apostolic Church, Apostle Dr. I. N. George presented an award of excellence to Senator Albert in recognition of his contributions to the empowerment of Youths and feats achieved in the National Assembly.
