Yuletide: Nsit Atai Chairman Lauds Gov. Eno For Christmas Outreach
The Executive Chairman of Nsit Atai Local Government Area, Hon. Prince Anthony Nyong, has commended the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, for his visionary, inclusive, and people-centred leadership, as demonstrated through the Christmas outreach to the people of Nsit Atai during the yuletide season.
Hon. Nyong made the commendation at the Nsit Atai Local Government Council Secretariat during the formal presentation and distribution of Christmas support items graciously provided by the Akwa Ibom State Government.
According to the Chairman, the Governor’s benevolent gesture underscores a deep-rooted commitment to compassion, equity, and responsive governance, noting that the outreach transcends political, social, and communal divides and speaks directly to the welfare of the grassroots.
He charged village heads, community leaders, and youth representatives to discharge their responsibilities with utmost fairness, transparency, and integrity, ensuring that the items are equitably distributed and reach families across all communities.
The Chairman further emphasised that accountability, unity, and collective stewardship at the community level are indispensable to the success of such interventions.

In demonstration of the Governor’s goodwill, over two thousand (2,000) bags of rice were released to Nsit Atai Local Government Area and duly distributed across the 51 gazetted villages as part of the yuletide outreach.
Hon. Nyong expressed profound appreciation to stakeholders of Nsit Atai for their support and unity of purpose, describing collective responsibility as the bedrock of peace, progress, and sustainable development in the local government.
Dignitaries who graced the exercise included the Honourable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Rt. Hon. Emem Ibanga, and the Member representing Nsit Atai State Constituency, Hon. Prince Aniefiok Attah, alongside other distinguished leaders and stakeholders.
