Ession Ita Ndiya Of Nduo Eduo Group Of Villages Hail Obong Umana On Ministerial Appointment
A groundswell of joy has rocked the Ession Ita Ndiya of Nduo Eduo Group of Villages in Western Nsit Clan of Nsit Ubium Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State following the emergence of Obong Umana Okon Umana as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Obong Umana, a native of Ndiya Usung Inyang Village in Ession Ita Ndiya of Nduo Eduo Group of Villages, was sworn in as Minister by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.
Obong Umana, who has been assigned to the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, was until his latest appointment, the Managing Director of a Federal Government agency, the Oil and Gas Free Trade Zone Authority.
He had previously served as State Director of Budget, Commissioner for Finance and Secretary to the State Government in the public service of Akwa Ibom State.
In a goodwill message to Obong Umana Okon Umana, the Ession Ita Ndiya of Nduo Eduo Group of Villages congratulated him on the appointment and swearing-in as Honourable Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.

In the congratulatory message signed by the Village Head of Ndiya Ikot Ukap, Eteidung Ekom J.O. Ekanem JP, on behalf of the Ession Ita Ndiya of Nduo Eduo Group of Villages, appreciated and thanked His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for his magnanimity their son the privilege to serve in his cabinet.
They also described the appointment as well deserved considering his previous well-established scorecard in public services such as State Director of Budget, Commissioner for Finance and Secretary to the State Government and the Managing Director of the Oil and Gas Free Trade Zone Authority.
