Gov Eno Tasks Delivery Advisors, Contractors On Specifications And Projects Completion
Delivery advisors overseeing projects and the contractors have been charged to renew their commitment, keep to approved specifications and ensure that timelines for the completion of the projects are met.
The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, gave the charge in his remarks at day two of his administration’s project delivery meeting held at Banquet Hall, Government House, Uyo, stating that some of the projects have been pencilled down for commissioning in September 2026.
He said the delivery meeting was very critical for examining the progress of the different projects across the State, stressing that “An unexamined life is not worth living.”

The Governor emphasised that he was committed to a transparent administration, hence the involvement of critical stakeholders like the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Civil Liberty Organisation, elder statesmen, and others in the review meeting.
He said the sessions provide an opportunity to critically assess progress, identify implementation challenges, and ensure that government projects are executed in line with specifications and timelines.

He said the distribution of Oil Palm Seedlings and other agric inputs of the State Government should not be done in the dark, but given adequate publicity and in collaboration with Paramount Rulers and Local Government Chairmen.
