It was a collection of who-is-who on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, as the Nigerian Army Civil-Military cooperative project was commissioned at the Lutheran Primary School, Nung Udoe, the headquarters of Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area.
The Chairman of the Transition Committee of Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area, Hon. (Mrs) Akon Michael Asuquo, played host as she joined Governor Umo Eno, represented at the event by Hon. Commissioner for Internal Security and Waterways, General Koko Essien (Rtd), Chief of Defence Staff, General CG Musa, OFR, Chief of Army Staff, LT. Gen. TA Lagbaja, State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Waheed Ajilara, and other security operatives and indigenes of Nung Udoe, at the historic event.
While delivering a message of goodwill, the Ibesikpo Asutan council boss lauded the progenitor and initiator of the school project, Maj. General Solomon Udonwa (Rtd.), an indigene of Nung Udoe of Ibesikpo Asutan, for such a feat.
In appreciating the project initiator, she said, “Major Gen. SE Udonwa is keying into the agenda of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, who is poised to change the narrative of our schools for the better.
“I am very delighted to witness the commissioning of this project, and I must thank you for such a great show of love for the school that shaped your formative years.

“As your local government area of origin, we thank you and we are very proud of you. The initiative is in line with the ARISE Agenda programme of our leader, the Governor. Some days ago, he commissioned the Arise Compassionate Home here in Ibesikpo Asutan.”
She added, “Earlier on, he had built and commissioned the Ikot Nkwo Primary Health Centre and several other projects across the length and breadth of the state.”
At the event, the initiator of the project, Major Gen. SE Udonwa (Rtd.), recognised the sterling leadership qualities of Hon. (Mrs.) Akon Michael Asuquo and presented her with an award of excellence, alongside other prominent personalities who graced the event.
The project commissioned was the Lutheran Primary School, Nung Udoe, which was renovated by Major Gen. SE Udonwa (Rtd.) as his contribution towards improving the educational standard of the school.
