Nsit Atai APC Stakeholders Adopt Tinubu, Eno, Bassey, Esset, Attah For Second Term

An enlarged stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nsit Atai Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State has unanimously adopted key political office holders for a second term ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The meeting, held at the Uyo residence of the member representing Uyo/Uruan/Nsit Atai/Ibesikpo Asutan Federal Constituency, Rep. Mark Esset, PhD, brought together political leaders, party executives at both chapter and ward levels, as well as public office holders to deliberate on the political direction of the area.

Speaking in support of the resolutions were prominent figures, including Rep. Mark Esset, PhD; Hon. Prince Anthony Nyong, Executive Chairman of Nsit Atai Local Government Area; Hon. Prince Aniefiok Attah, member representing Nsit Atai State Constituency; Princess Emem Ibanga, Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs; Mr. Emmanuel Okon, MD/CEO of Eminence Oil & Gas; and Hon. Etim Mfon Samuel, APC Chapter Chairman, Nsit Atai.

After extensive deliberations, the stakeholders passed a series of resolutions, citing performance, infrastructure development, and effective representation as key reasons for their decisions.

Presenting the resolutions, the stakeholders commended the performance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, particularly the approval and construction of the Coastal Road traversing Nsit Atai, and adopted him as the sole candidate for a second term as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

They also expressed support for Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, praying for his return to the Senate in recognition of his leadership and contributions.

 

The stakeholders further adopted Governor Umo Bassey Eno, PhD, for a second term, citing achievements such as the Odot–Ikot Ubo Road project, the dualization of the Odot–Ikot Asua Road, and the construction of key public infrastructure, including a model primary school and a youth-friendly centre.

Similarly, Senator Aniekan Bassey was endorsed for a second term representing Uyo Senatorial District. Rep. Mark Esset, PhD, was also adopted for a second term in the House of Representatives, with stakeholders applauding his legislative performance and oversight functions.

In the same vein, Hon. Prince Aniefiok Attah was endorsed for a second term in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, representing Nsit Atai State Constituency, based on what was described as his outstanding performance.

The stakeholders concluded that the resolutions represent the best course for ensuring peaceful and progressive development in Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom State, and Nigeria at large.

A motion for the adoption of the resolutions was moved by the Member Representing Nsit Atai State Constituency, Hon. Prince Aniefiok Attah and seconded by the Executive Chairman of Nsit Atai LGA, Hon. Prince Anthony Nyong.

The communiqué was subsequently signed by party stakeholders present at the meeting.
