According to the Council Chairman, the direct primary process has continued to strengthen internal democracy by allowing ordinary party members to take part directly in decision-making within the party.

“Our party remains strong because the people at the grassroots are fully involved in the democratic process. The peaceful turnout and participation witnessed here today clearly show that APC members are united and committed to the progress of the party,” Hon. Nyong stated.
