A foremost socio-political organization in Akwa Ibom State, the One for Eight Initiative has repositioned to chart a new course for the success, growth and development of the State Government under the watch of His Excellency, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.
The group, in a roundtable meeting held on Friday, February 26, 2021, unanimously agreed to strategically work for the progress of the group and garner supports for the programmes and activities of the State Government.
Addressing members, the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Prince Godwin Ntuk Udeh, Ph.D, assured that the leadership of the One for Eight Initiative are very proactive and poised to move the Organization forward. His words:
“Don’t forget, we are for politics that would protect the interest of Akwa Ibom State, respect, support and encourage leadership with inputs. We are mindful of protecting leadership and contributing ideas to ensure they succeed.”
He urged members of the organization to remain committed towards the growth and progress of the onw for eight Initiative.
On his part, the Prime Minister of the One for Eight Initiative, Bishop (Dr.) Ahaziah Umanah thanked God for the beginning of new things for the organization.
Bishop Umanah reiterated his willingness and commitment to work together with both the Executives and members of the one for eight Initiative, while they strive to achieve the organization’s motto which is: Service Before Self.
Membership registration, welfare and other salient issues topped the Agenda of the meeting.
