Projects Commissioning: Senator Albert Felicitates With Gov Emmanuel
The Senator representing Akwa Ibom North East, Obong Bassey Albert Akpan and Leader, Akwa Ibom State Caucus, National Assembly has felicitated with Governor Udom Emmanuel on the completion and commissioning of projects as part of activities marking his administration’s sixth year in office.
Senator Albert, who spoke glowingly of Governor Emmanuel during the commissioning of the Medical Gas and Vacuum Plant at the Infectious Disease Control Center, Methodist General Hospital, Ituk Mbang, said the project is critical to the State’s Health infrastructure given the lessons derived from the COVID-19 pandemic that plagued the globe since early 2020.
“Let me acknowledge that this is quite laudable. I congratulate my brother, Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel for his feats so far which are the projects we have seen and are being commissioned,” he added.
Senator Albert, popularly known as OBA, also graced the commissioning of the official residence of the chairman, Akwa Ibom State Council of Chiefs, Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo, Saturday.

Earlier, the Federal Lawmaker, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) also, witnessed the commissioning of some newly constructed roads within Uyo Metropolis, the state capital.
