Rohr Sends Warnings To NFF

…As He Maintains Stance On Contract Face-off

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has sent warning to the Nigeria Football Federation as he maintains his stance on the contract face off with the body.
Rohr is in his last month of the two year deal with the Super Eagles but they are yet to present him a new deal despite the Germany manager willing to sign new deal with the team.

Rohr has been fantastic with the Super Eagles with his numbers of win, he lead the team to 49 games, he won 29, 11 draws and nine losses with the Nigeria national team.

Rohr led the national team to a third place finish in the African Cup of Nations tournament in 2019.

The Nigerian football governing body does not want to offer former Bordeaux manager a new contract as they are keen on introducing new terms to their previous agreement.

Rohr, however, is staying calm despite the delay and uncertainty, choosing instead to focus on the fitness and health of his Super Eagles player, especially in the face of the Coronavirus outbreak.

“I will not ask the NFF what is going on with my contract renewal (with just over three months left on his present deal). It’s for the NFF to approach me. I am still waiting,” BBC’s Osas Obayiuwana quoted Rohr on Twitter.

“My job is to focus on the SuperEagles, as long as I am the coach of this team. And I am going to do just that.

“Right now, my concern is that our players in Europe stay physically fit, even when they are not playing, because of the coronavirus situation.
