Senator Albert Commiserates With Rt. Hon. Anietie Etuk, Family Over Father’s Demise
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) and Senator representing Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Bassey Albert Akpan (OBA), has commiserated with the family of the former Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Anietie Etuk over the passage of their father.
Senator Albert conveyed his condolences at the funeral service held in honour of the Late Elder (Chief) Sunday Charles Etuk at the deceased compound in Ikot Idem Nsit, Nsit Ibom Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State on Friday, December 3, 2021.
OBA, who is the Leader of the Akwa Ibom State Caucus in the National Assembly, Abuja, while praying for the repose of the soul of the departed, encouraged the former Speaker and members of the family, to bear the irreparable loss as well as sustain the exemplary lifestyle and legacies of their late patriarch.

In his biography, the late Elder (Chief) Sunday Etuk was said to have lived a quiet and peaceful life. “He lived a simple, humble and honest life”.
Until his demise, he was the village head of Ikot Idem Nsit, Western Clan, Nsit Ibom LGA.
The funeral service was conducted by the Qua Iboe Church, Obontong, Nkwot, Ikot Idem, Obontong Township Superintendency, Nsit Ibom.
