Senator Albert Graces 96th Annual General Meeting/Conference Of Oron Union

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) and Senator representing Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Bassey Albert Akpan has acknowledged the enormous contributions of Oron Union to the socio-cultural, economic and political development of the State and nation.
Senator Albert, who is the Leader of the Akwa Ibom State Caucus in the National Assembly, noted that Oron Union, has brought unity, peace and progress to its five component local government areas namely, Mbo, Oron, Urue-Offong/Oruko, Okobo and Udung Uko, known as Oro Nation.
The two-term senator was speaking at the 96th Annual General Meeting/Conference of Oron Union, held on Wednesday 29, 2021 at Oro Civic Centre, Oron LGA.
The keynote address on the theme; Towards Oro’s Survival In A World Of Inequality; A Call For A Holistic Renaissance” was presented by Prof. Peter Esuh, Head of Department Communication Arts, University of Uyo.
