Uyo Book Club Holds Colloquium To Honour Obong Attah
The Uyo Book Club holds its 2024 colloquium in honour of His Excellency, Arc. (Obong) Victor Attah, former Akwa Ibom State Executive Governor, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
The colloquium’s topic is Using Interministerial Direct Labour Co-ordinating Committee to Check Impunity: Demise of Good Governance and Public Service Delivery in Nigeria.
The keynote speaker at the event, organised to mark Arc. Attah’s 86th birthday, is Sir Sunday U. Akpan, a foremost management consultant and former Commissioner for Finance & Economic Development in Akwa Ibom State.
A former member of the House of Representatives, Abom Tony Esu, is the Chairman of the occasion slated to be held at Lord Lugard Terrace, Watbridge Hotel & Suites, opposite Ibom Hall, IBB Avenue, Uyo, by 4 p.m.
A statement by the host, Dr. Udeme Nana, said Distinguished Senator Ekong Sampson, who is a patron of the Uyo Book Club, and other eminent dignitaries are expected to attend the colloquium in honour of the former governor.
