Youths Emerge Beneficiaries Of Speaker’s Empowerment

Three youths from different local government areas of Akwa Ibom State have qualified for the week one Entrepreneurial Support Scheme of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, sponsored by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey.

Among them is, Enobong Dickson, an indigene of Eket Local Government Area. Though he is a physically challenged person, he is an entrepreneur that seeks expansion in his business and specialize in leatherwork and shoemaking.

Also, Mr. Michael Umoinemeh, another beneficiary is from Ikot Ekpene and holds a B. Sc in Economics from the University of Benin. He deals on babies wholesale and retail products, and is seeking to expand the business.

Another beneficiary is Kufre Akpabio, from Nsit Ibom Local Government Area. He is an undergraduate from the University of Uyo. He is into poultry farming. He signed up to RHABYESS for financial assistance and business expansion.

The scheme according to available information is the January Edition.
