2023 virus Infecting Nigerian Politicians

While the world is busy trying to contain the coronavirus, Nigeria has another kind of deadlier virus to contain.

It is called 2023virus and is already spreading among Nigerian politicians. Nearly every politician has contracted the disease that portends danger to the very fabric of democracy.

The general elections were only held last year and the various governments that emerged are less than a year in office, yet the political class has started joggling for 2023. They are being infected by 2023virus.

Why the 2023virus is deadly is that it will definitely cause the government in power to lose focus and get lost in trying to install a successor. When that happens, the consequences could well be imagined.

Government should urgently try to isolate all those who have already contracted the virus if Nigeria is to move forward.
