A Yuletide Like Never

The 2019 Christmas celebration in Nigeria has been one of the best in recent times for many reasons. For example in Akwa Ibom State, the government went all out to make it a memorable one with the creation of a Christmas Village which provided a month-long recreation and unquantifiable entertainment to residents of and visitors to the city.

But the greatest joy of the season across Nigeria was the availability of fuel unlike in the past.

This time around, the product was readily available and motorists did not pass through the hell of queuing endlessly for fuel which is a great departure from the spectacle of the past when fuel stations were crowded with long lines of motorists waiting to buy at cut throat price.

Things have really changed and Nigerians have been saved the troubles of fuel scarcity.

However, apart from the worsening condition of Calabar-Itu Road which discouraged many from travelling from Akwa Ibom State to attend the Calabar Carnivals, the Yuletide this time around was one celebrated with necessary ease of mind.
