A’Ibom Govt, CAN To Proclaim 3-Day State Fast For God’s Blessings

The Akwa Ibom government in conjunction with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Akwa Ibom State chapter, has proclaimed a three-day state fast to pray for the dedication, consecration and restoration of our state.
A statement by the State Commissioner for Information, Sir Charles Udoh, issued on Thursday, May 28, 2020, says that the theme for the fast which begins on Monday – Wednesday, June 1-3, 2020, is “The Mighty Hand Of God” (1 Peter 5:6).

According to him, the current global situation needs intensive prayers to seek God’s divine mercies and provisions.
“The fast is to be observed individually at home with family members by all indigenes and residents in Akwa Ibom State,” he explained.
