All Set For OBA’s Thanksgiving, Complex Commissioning – Akwa Ubok Abasi Organization
The Akwa Ubok Abasi Campaign Organization has confirmed readiness of plans for the commissioning of a multipurpose recreational Complex facilitated by Senator Bassey Albert Akpan and thanksgiving service of the legislator who represents Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District in the Senate.
As a prelude, a night of Praise and Worship, holds today, Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the multipurpose facility at Ifa Ikot Akpan, Uyo, while the commissioning and thanksgiving holds on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at same venue.
Addressing newsmen in Uyo on Thursday, Director General of the Akwa Ubok Abasi Campaign Organization, Arch Bishop Andrew Unwanta, reiterated that the events which have already garnered wide publicity, have a national dimension due to the standard of the facility to be commissioned as well as dignitaries to grace the event.

Arch Bishop Unwanta confirmed that President of the Senate, Distinguished Senator Ahmed Lawan, his colleagues in the National Assembly, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Udom Emmanuel, and other eminent personalities across the country would grace the event.
He further confirmed that the newly constructed 1.3 kilometer Road in Ifa Ikot Akpan constructed by the Senator will also be commissioned.

The organization invites members of the political class, traditional rulers and the general public to grace the events.
Other members of organization in attendance at the news conference were: Ikpoto Okon Osung, Obong Daniel Udoh (North South) and Barr Kennedy Ekong.
