Following the official commencement of the homegoing ceremonies for the late Akwa Ibom State First Lady, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno, the family church of the Governor and the late First Lady, All Nations Christian Ministry International (ANCMI), led by the Presiding Pastor, Ndaeyo Udomfuk, has condoled with Governor Umo Eno, who is also the Undershepherd of the Church.
In his message, Pastor Udomfuk eulogised the late First Lady as a “mother in a million,” highlighting her compassion, faith, and dedication to both her family and the church. “She was a beacon of light, a source of strength, and an embodiment of love for countless families,” he said.
The visit, which was in accordance with the church’s tradition, featured prayers for the governor, the family and the church.
In a similar gesture, the people of Ikot Ekpene Udo Village and Ibiakpan Obotim Ward II visited the governor to express their condolences.
In his response, Governor Umo Eno expressed heartfelt gratitude for the prayers, support, and show of love. “Your presence here strengthens us and reminds us of the strong bonds we share as a community. May God bless you all abundantly for standing with us,” he said.
The event was also marked by moments of quiet reflection as those present recounted personal memories of the late First Lady. Many spoke of her kind words, unwavering faith and relentless commitment to uplifting the lives of those around her.
