Gov. Fubara To Increase Investment In Cassava Processing Factory
...Targets Production Of Flour Of International Standards
The governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, says more funds will be invested in the state cassava processing factory located in Oyigbo Local Government Area.
Sir Fubara gave the assurance when he visited the plant on Thursday to ascertain what had been achieved with the initial investment made by the state government in the factory.
Governor Fubara explained that the team managing the factory had requested support to enable them to complete two more production lines to increase their capacity to churn out more products.
“I got a request from the people who manage the cassava processing plant that we need to extend our support for them to complete two production lines.
“That will give them a standard that they can start to supply in earnest to many distributors who need the product from this plant.

“From what I have seen here today, it is really impressive. I can assure them that we will provide the financial support to ensure that the production lines are all completed.
