Ibiono Ibom Council Is Proud Of Senator Albert’s Six-Year Superlative Performance – Council Chairman

The chairman of Ibiono Ibom Local Government Council, Rt. Hon. Ekopimoh Polycarp Edet has said that the council and people of Ibiono Ibom are proud of the superlative performances of the representative of Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District, Senator Bassey Albert Akpan over his six years of excellent service.

Hon. Edet said that Senator Albert, who is an indigene of Ibiono Ibom, has brought honour to the area, the Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District and the State in general, through his impactful service record so far.

In a felicitation message titled, “Congratulations to our capacity Senator OBA,” the council chairman said Senator Albert’s empowerment programmes including the education scholarship scheme for 381 students, and legislative duties are life-touching and of great economic value to the nation.

The message read, “We in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area are very proud of you because you have made us to stand tall in Akwa Ibom State in view of your superlative performance in these six years and counting.

“We have seen your constituency projects deliberately distributed across the nine local government areas that make up Uyo Senatorial District. We have seen your all-school expense scholarship programme till graduation for 381 students.

“We have seen your pro-people’s robust presentations on the floor of the Senate, we have seen your youth and educational friendly disposition; and we have seen your clear intervention in the NNPC/Chevron Escravos project now yielding several billions of dollars to the Federal Government of Nigeria against what it was a decade ago.”

The council particularly noted the empowerment of youths, women and elders and prayed for more grace upon the senator in his service to the state and nation.

“We have seen your laudable empowerment of youths, women and elders over the years.”

“Congratulations Sir, we wish you more grace to do more for Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria,” he added.
