Thank You For Making Us Proud – Ibiono Ibom Royal Father Lauds Senator Albert

The paramount ruler of Ibibio Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, HRM Edidem Ime Udousoroh Inyang has given thumbs up to Senator Bassey Albert Akpan, chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) for his outstanding capacity in leadership.

The royal father said in a congratulatory message that he is pleased with the quality of Senator Albert’s representation in the Nigerian Senate and his compassion for one another.

“Thank you for being a true son and making us proud. We will continue to pray for you to achieve even more for the greater good of Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria,” the royal father, a former chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Council of Chiefs remarked.

The monarch stated that the Senator, who hails from Ibiono Ibom and represents Akwa Ibom North East Senator District, has raised the bar in leadership by demonstrating that leaders have to connect effectively with the people by making oneself always available to the people even after elections.

“I am particularly pleased by the quality of your representation in the Nigerian Senate, notably your thoughtfulness in always giving back to your people.

“You have raised the bar in leadership demonstrating that leaders have to connect by making yourself always available to the people even after elections.

Edidem Inyang was happy that Senator Albert as chairman of Akwa Ibom Caucus in the National Assembly has shown leadership by projecting Akwa Ibom State in good light at all times,” the royal father stated.

He added, I recall when Victor Attah International Airport was not listed among Airports in Nigeria to be re-opened in the early post-Covid-19 days, you took up the issue and screamed at plenary that our Airport be included and it was done to ease air transportation for our people and other travellers.”
