The serene Ubulu-Okiti Community in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, was agog recently as the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, Dr. Emmanuel Mafiana, hosted Ward II PDP faithful with a charge on them to remain supportive of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in his commitment towards building a stronger Delta State.
Mafiana, who feted party faithful in his country home at the Community, also presented bags of rice and cartons of tomatoes to them.
He said that the gesture was to appreciate members of the party for their steadfastness, efforts and contributions to the re-election of Governor Okowa and other Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidates at the last general elections.
According to him, “if you appreciate someone for a job well done, he would be spurred and encouraged to do more,” adding that Ward II PDP was solid, intact and speaks with one voice.
The PDP chieftain, who also expressed his profound gratitude to the governor for his reappointment, rehabilitation of Ubulu-Okiti link road to the Benin-Asaba Expressway, restoration of electricity and sinking of water borehole in the community, said that they would remain eternally grateful to the governor.

Chiedu Mekoma and the Chairman, PDP Ward II, Mr. Godwin Emefiene, commended Dr. Emmanuel Mafiana for his initiative, love and care for his people, even as they urged them to redouble their support for Governor Okowa and the party.
