Make Use Of 50 Housing Units In LGAs

I am aware that Victor Attah administration did build a 50-unit housing estate in each of the 31 local government areas of Akwa Ibom State.

But unfortunately the housing estates have not been put to proper use.
In most cases they have not been fully occupied and are therefore allowed to lie waste.

Most council staff and legislators still prefer to reside in Uyo the state capital, than in the satellite village estates.

In the long run, the purpose for which the estates were built has been defeated.
Government should please take appropriate measures to get the housing estates put to effective use.
