Oku Ibom Ibibio Impressed With Gov. Eno’s Impactful leadership

Oku Ibom Ibibio and President General of the Akwa Ibom State Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers, His Eminence, Ntenyin (Dr.) Solomon D. Etuk, CFR, has given a pat on the back of Governor Umo Eno for his impactful and people-oriented leadership in the state.
Ntenyin Etuk gave the commendation at the Traditional Rulers’ chamber in Uyo, during the presentation of a new coaster bus to the State Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers by the Governor, who was represented by Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mkpisong Frank Archibong on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
The Bus was part of Governor Umo Eno’s fulfilment of his promise to provide mobility and facilitate team movements for the royal fathers during official engagements.
Presenting the vehicle’s key to Oku Ibom Ibibio on behalf of the royal fathers, the Commissioner said the gesture demonstrates the Governor’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the monarchs, as well as his efforts to strengthen the traditional institution in the state.
In his response, Ntenyin Etuk thanked Governor Umo Eno for his sincerity of purpose and for keeping to his promise, stating that he had demonstrated genuine love and respect for the royal fathers.

The supreme monarch applauded Gov Eno for his spectacular development strives so far, adding that with the Coaster Bus in place, the Council would soon embark on a tour to inspect projects across the state.
“The royal fathers in Akwa Ibom State are exceedingly happy to receive this vehicle which will take us round on official duty”.
“Very soon we are going to commence inspection of projects, as Paramount Rulers going round to inspect government projects will give us first hand knowledge of the ongoing development under Governor Umo Eno.
“There is no doubt that he has done quite a lot and we should be going round to witness what he has done”.
“By the grace of God, we appreciate what he’s doing and I pray God to give him the enablement to do more for the people of Akwa Ibom,” Oku Ibom Ibibio stated.
The presentation of the Coaster bus was witnessed by the Chairman of the State Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers, Akuku Saviour Udofia, Paramount Rulers, Secretary to the Council, Dr Emmanuel Umontuen, Management and staff of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
