Too Many “No Parking” Orders

I sometimes wonder who authorised the many ‘No Parking’ signposts that dot the roads, mostly in front of business premises.

The boards all indicate that the orders are from the police. But could that be true?Methink that the owners of the premises where the signposts are placed usually put them up without police authorisation.

I think the boards are getting out of hand and people are grossly abusing the situation.

It seems most business premises only put the post just to stop any motorist from parking there and moreover the “no parking” areas are on government roads, not in business or private premises. The abuse is becoming widespread.
