The Royal Family of Late Akpan Uwaunio of Uta Ewa Village in Ikpa Ibekwe Clan in Ikot Abasi Local Government Area has announced the demise of their father, uncle, grandfather, village head and clan head, His Highness, Late Etebom Akpan Akpan Uwaunio II at 67 Years.
In a press release from the Chairman of the Publicity Committee of the funeral committee, Hon. Uyioata Ikpaisong Abraham said the deceased whose life and times impacted greatly on the lives of his subjects and those who were close to him would be buried on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in his Home Town, Uta Ewa Village.
The release also indicated that the morning house was opened on Sunday, April 21, 2024. The release added that the Late Etebom Akpan Akpan Uwaunio II was a resourceful, highly respected, dependable caregiver and a gracious philanthropist who equally instilled the values of discipline, hardworking, perseverance, courage, selflessness, humility and leadership in all his subjects would be given a befitting burial.
While deeply mourning the passing of their reputable Late Clan Head, Etebom Akpan Akpan Uwaunio II, the royal family thanked God for sparing his life throughout his reign on earth.
The bereaved family cordially invite all people in Ikot Abasi local Government and beyond, In-Laws, Friends and Well-wishers to attend the final burial.
