The Chairman, Transition Committee of Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area, Hon. (Mrs.) Akon Michael Asuquo, has charged women in Ibesikpo Asutan to make decisive decisions and to be steadfast in all aspects of their life endeavours.
She gave the charge during the March edition of Akam Iban Ibesikpo Asutan (Akamiiba) held at the Council Headquarters, Nung Udoe, on Saturday, March 9, 2024.
The Chairman, who stated this while ministering on the theme “steadfastness,” noted that steadfastness is something everyone who bears the mark of Christ should take as a matter of all importance.
She drew her message from the books of Col 2:5-8 and 1 Cor 15:58 and, narrating her own life story, said it’s not unconnected to her steadfastness and God’s faithfulness.
Speaking further, the council helmsman said God will prove Himself to them when they take a decisive decision to stand with Him, explaining that even when it seems God is absent in the physical, He’s always with those who trust in him in the spirit.

“Our spiritual mummy had said this continually: as Christians, we should make decisive decisions to live a new life in our day-to-day existence.
“Call on him at all times. He’s always ready to answer you; don’t be weary of doing what’s good,” she added.
The March prayer meeting featured prayers of Thanksgiving to God for March, prayers to be established in the faith, and prayers to abound in every good work.
Also, prayer was offered for the Council Chairman and her cabinet, His and Her Excellencies, Pastor and Pastor (Mrs.) Umo Bassey Eno and her cabinet, sponsors of Akamiiba, and March’s newborn babies.
